This. I always had panics attacks when I had to do a speech in front of a class and I only ever had one teacher u sweatband coz she was the same when she was in school the rest were just like I don’t care it’s part of the curriculum “no special exceptions for your fucked head” literally word for word for my grade 12 teacher. I wanted to kill her literally.

This is my school life rolled into ones post. I cry almost everyday after school because it’s just too hard.

this is too true, and it saddens me. I cry at night over the amount of work I have to do. And not only do I have a lot of work, but I have a mental disorder, and sometimes I just can’t do it. But they don’t get that so I end up failing. And it’s just really stressful. 

You know what’s even sadder? They’re adding more work for all of these incoming freshmen and sophomores in high school. All of my freshmen friends tell me how they are now REQUIRED to take two years of a language class, as well as an online class (on top of the seven we already have during school) and they’re also required to take several different tests their freshmen year.

I’m a senior in high school and I didn’t have to do ANY of that my freshmen year, they’re just making it more difficult when they should be making it easier, some kids just can’t handle all of that on top of having to be in clubs and sports and after school activities and being involved with the community and all the peer pressure  and stress that comes with being in school.

And then every. Single. Year. They beat into your head “YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO DO FOR COLLEGE, SCHOLARSHIPS, GRANT MONEY, LOOK AT ALL THESE COLLEGES, THINK ABOUT YOUR FUTURE. IF YOU DON’T GO TO COLLEGE YOU WONT GO ANYWHERE IN LIFE.”

And then there are students who more AND go to school and there’s some MORE stress that’s just added on.

Honestly, I don’t understand why schools are the way they are.
